서점의 미래는 어떻게 될까? 지금 전 세계에서 모색되고 있다.
패션 디자이너 소니아 리키엘 파리의 팝업 숍에 새로운 공간 디자인을 제시하고있다. 의류와 함께 5만 권의 책을 배치했다.
두 문화 컨텐츠의 협업을 이룬 공간 디자인이 매력적.
「책」은 읽을거리로서도 인테리어 소재로서도 좋다. 그리고 사람들을 강하게 끌어 당기는 미디어 이기도하다. 미래의 점포 비전 중 하나를 보여주고 있다.
일본의 다이칸야마 서점이나 신주쿠의 빅쿠로가 연상되기도 한다. 일본 빅카메라와 유니클로가 협력하여 의류와 가전제품을 하나의 건물에서 융합적으로 배치된 양판점과 같은 공간이다.
이 같은 점포 스타일은 큰 매장뿐만 아니라 작은가게에도 종이 책이 놓여 판매 융합형 서점이 늘어날 것일지도 모른다. 다이칸야마의 츠타야 서점은 하나의 주제를 가지고 그 주제에 맞게 상품들을 함께 판매하고 있다. 서점이 감소하는 시대에 책이 놓여있는 장소의 필요성을 느끼는 사람이 많을 것이다.
미래에도 책이 놓여있는 그런 공유공간의 세계를 그리워하는 사람은 나 뿐만이 아닐 것이다. 새로운 유형의 서점이 생기고 서점이라 불리지 않을 책이 놓여진 공간에서 한줄기 희망을 발견하고 싶다.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.
Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable.
If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet.
It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
